As an attorney with years of experience in real estate law and as a Licensed Realtor in Alabama, Jim brings a broad background in real estate, business, and finance to the Sam Winter & Co. team. Jim’s legal training and experience as a skillful negotiator uniquely qualifies him for the transactional aspects of his real estate profession. These skills also enhance his effectiveness in dealing with all the parties involved such as other REALTORS®, lawyers, closing agents, accountants, government officials, and a variety of other professionals. These abilities can often result in closing complicated transactions that otherwise might have failed. Jim’s experience with unique properties, such as historic properties, makes him a valuable asset to his clients. His exceptional knowledge, appreciation, and respect for historic architecture, along with his legal and professional acumen, was of particular value during Jim’s 17 years of service on the City of Mobile’s Architectural Review Board. Jim maintains a commitment to the highest degree of professionalism and integrity. Since 2009, as a member of both the Mobile Area Association of REALTORS® and Baldwin County Association of REALTORS®, Jim has closed over 51 transactions with a total sales volume of over $11.04 million. When you want results and professional guidance with your real estate matters, you can count on Jim Wagoner to be there for you.

“Live Where You Imagine” is more that a catchphrase for Jim – to him it is living in an active community where neighbors care for each other, where opportunities (both professional and creative) abound, and where one can rest well each night after days well-lived. For the past 20 years, Jim and his spouse, Charles, have lived where they imagine while renovating their 113-year old home in the Old Dauphin Way Historic District of Mobile. Landscaping, travel, dining out at new restaurants, and Alabama football are a few of Jim’s interests.

Jim received his undergraduate degree and his law degree from the University of Alabama. He is a member of the Alabama Bar Association and attends Trinity Episcopal Church in Midtown Mobile.
