Sam is a native Mobilian and he graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications in 2004. Shortly after graduating from college, he obtained his real estate license and began his career with Roberts Brothers, Inc. In February, 2013, he started his own company – Sam Winter & Co. Real Estate, Inc. Sam has been identified as a leader in both the civic arena and the real estate community. He earned the Council of Residential Specialist designation, which is an honor held by only 4% of residential REALTORS® nationwide. Sam has also earned the Commitment to Excellence (C2EX) endorsement from the National Association of REALTORS®. This endorsement goes to REALTORS® who have demonstrated knowledge and competency in 10 core areas of real estate practice. Since 2004, Sam has closed over 725 transactions with a total sales volume of over $170 million. As a second generation REALTOR®, Sam strives for excellence and enjoys the daily challenges of real estate.
Sam is married to the former Hartley Griffith and they have three children, Audrey, Sam, Jr. and Griffith. His family attends St. Mary’s Catholic Church. When Sam is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, reading, being outdoors and spending time on his Stauter boat.
